Exciting news!

Invigorate Auckland has successfully undergone a change in ownership. We are super excited to take the helm, however, we also understand change brings about a range of emotions and questions.

Newness can create curiosity and apprehension. It is totally natural to wonder about the direction we will take or the impact this transition may have on the Invigorate Auckland tribe. 

We acknowledge your feelings and assure you that being transparent, preserving our unique gym experience, and sense of community is really important to us.

We are announcing, in due course we will rebrand to ‘Average Joes Gym’. We are still the same awesome gym but with fresh faces. You may have seen some changes here and there already with emails and contact details changing.

Hi, we’re JOE and SUYIN

Firstly, let me introduce ourselves. My name is Joe Merrall, I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 16 years. During this time, I had the privilege of working closely with Matt, what a legend. We share similar philosophies and training styles, and I’m committed to continuing the high standards.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the honour of assisting hundreds of people (average Joes to athletes) achieve results & become the best versions of themselves. I love witnessing firsthand the transformative power of fitness.

 I’m passionate about mobility, stability, movement for mental health, boot camps, strength and conditioning training. I’m excited to bring my experience and knowledge to our gym.

In addition to myself, I’d like to introduce co-owner, Suyin Ginn. Suyin has worked in the NZ spa and wellbeing industry for over two decades. She has a real passion for people and connection. She’s dedicated to social wellness and fostering an inclusive environment which just perfectly aligns with our shared vision for the gym.

Together, we’ll keep up the awesome gym vibes to make it a place you will thrive physically, mentally, and socially. 

We are thrilled to continue working with the amazing Celleste, who is a true gem and powerhouse in our team. In the coming weeks, you can expect to see exciting enhancements and fresh ideas. And of course the continuity of existing programmes and services you all love.

We’re determined to create a gym experience that not only meets but exceeds your expectations - helping you not only reach but smash your fitness goals.

We look forward to getting to know each and every one of you, and we are so excited to be part of this thriving fitness community.
